Our Mission

The mission of the NYSSPE Erie Niagara Chapter is to promote and defend the lawful and ethical practice of engineering, foster networking and collaboration among local engineers of all disciplines, support education initiatives in our communities, and advocate for the interests of our members at the local, state, and national levels.

What We Do

We provide a platform for the engineering community to connect, share knowledge, and foster innovation. Our initiatives include a broad range of activities, from monthly meetings and technical presentations, to educational outreach programs and collaborative public projects. We continuously strive to elevate the status of the engineering profession and acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our peers through various awards and recognitions.

Advocacy

As part of the NYSSPE, we have a robust advocacy program. Our focus is to ensure that the laws and regulations of our state uphold the integrity of the engineering profession, protect the public welfare, and maintain a favorable operating environment for engineers. We actively engage with policymakers at the local, state, and national level.
